Fulfillment
Fulfillment overview
Fulfillment is the path from a paid order in Orders to a label on a box and a tracking signal back to the customer and channel. EcomFlux keeps that path inside one workspace: rate shopping against your carrier contracts, purchase labels, and optionally print silently at the warehouse.
Prerequisites
- Orders flowing from sales channels.
- At least one connected courier under Integrations (see Connecting your shipping carriers).
- Valid ship-from addresses and parcel defaults configured in workspace or order settings as your deployment requires.
Typical workflow
- Select orders in Orders (filters, tags, or batches from automations).
- Get rates from connected carriers; pick service level and packaging.
- Purchase the label; EcomFlux stores the label artifact and tracking number.
- Print via browser, PDF, or — for high volume — PrintNode to skip repetitive print dialogs.
- Mark shipped when the handoff matches your SOP; downstream accounting hooks may use that moment for invoicing (see Accounting).
Where Integrations fits
Carrier catalog connections and credentials are managed under Dashboard → Integrations. This doc section describes the operational outcome — labels and tracking — once those integrations are live.
